Andrew Biggadike
2018 Travis Invitational and 3-Time Carnegie Shield Champion
Andrew has many amateur golf accolades and plays on the prime amateur circuit, having won the Carnegie Shield at Royal Dornoch three times as well as the 2018 Travis Invitational at Garden City. As a three-time NCAA Division III All-American at Guilford College, Andrew led the team to a Division III National Championship in 2002 and individually finished T-6 in 2002 and T-3 in 2001. Andrew was selected to represent California in the 2012 USGA State Team Championship where he finished T-4 individually and has twice been named honorable mention to Global Golf Post's All Mid-Amateur team in 2014 and 2018. Beyond competing, Andrew is interested in golf administration and serves as a committee member for the USGA Junior Amateur Championship and a board member of the Amateur Golf Alliance that conducts the Concession Cup. When he's not playing or officiating, Andrew manages the core operating systems engineering group at VMware in Palo Alto, CA.
BIODuke Delcher
Competitive Amateur and Founder, The Players Amateur Tournament
Duke was born and raised in suburban Philadelphia, where he developed a passion for golf. Duke has won many competitive amateur tournaments and was a member of the victorious American team at the 1997 Walker Cup at Quaker Ridge. After establishing a successful real estate business in New Jersey, the development side of the business eventually took Duke to Belfair, Berkeley Hall, Hampton Hall, and Hampton Lake, where he helped build some of the finest communities in the Low Country. He enjoys giving back to the community as a member of the Heritage Foundation Board of Trustees as well as co-founder of the Players Amateur Golf tournament, one of the finest amateur tournaments in the country with winners including Rickie Fowler, Bill Haas, Ben Curtis, and Camilo Villegas.
BIOJim Holtgrieve
5-time Walker Cup Player & Captain
Jim Holtgrieve is a sterling amateur player who has represented the United States in amateur golf competitions many times, playing for three winning Walker Cup teams (1979,1981, and 1983) and captaining two more U.S. teams in 2011 and 2013. He won the inaugural U.S. Mid-Amateur in 1981, finished runner-up in the 1983 British Amateur, and lost in the semis of the 1980 U.S. Amateur. He has played in the Masters five times. He played on the winning U.S. teams in the Eisenhower Trophy World Amateur Championships in 1980 and 1982. Jim played professionally on the Champions Tour in the late 90's, but had his amateur status reinstated by the USGA in 2007. Jim loves golf because it challenges the mind and body, provides a genuine moral attitude, and because it gave him the chance to represent and play for his country.

Competitive Amateur and Founder/CEO, The Fried Egg
Andy is the founder of the growing golf media company, The Fried Egg. His website, newsletters and podcasts cover the spectrum of competitive golf to golf course design. When not writing or talking about golf, Andy plays competitive amateur golf at the state and national level. Growing up in the Chicago-area, Andy is a diehard Chicago sports fan and attended the University of Illinois. When he's not on the golf course, he enjoys spending time with his wife, friends and checking out Chicago's hidden gem restaurants, and playing Fetch with his dog Violet.
BIOChip Lutz
Senior US, Canadian, & British Amateur Champion
Chip Lutz has had an amazing amateur career that continues to this day. He began at the University of Florida in the early 70’s, but his greatest victory came at the US Senior Amateur in 2015 at Hidden Creek Golf Club. Chip’s business success as an insurance executive has allowed him to work on his game and keep it sharp. Chip was victorious back-to-back at the Canadian Senior Amateur (2011-12) and the British Senior Amateur Championship (2011-12), along with numerous elite amateur and senior am events. Most recently, he qualified for the 2018 Senior British Open and fired an opening round 69 on the hallowed grounds of the Old Course at St. Andrews.
BIOKelly Miller
Competitive Amateur and CEO, Mid Pines & Pine Needles Resorts
Kelly is a prominent golf executive with a strong amateur career, having competed in five U.S. Amateurs and five U.S. Mid-Ams and winning club championships at globally renowned clubs. He graduated from the University of Alabama in 1981, where he played golf and met his future wife, Peggy Ann Bell. Ever since, he has worked at (and now runs) the famed Pine Needles Lodge & GC and Mid-Pines Inn & Golf Club in Pinehurst, NC. He served as chairman of the U.S. Women’s Open the three times it was played at Pine Needles. In competition, Kelly also played in seven British Mid-Ams and won the Coleman Invitational at Seminole Golf Club.

Champion Canadian Amateur and National Hockey League Referee
Garrett made international headlines in 2018 at Shinnecock Hills, qualifying in Georgia to play in the U.S Open as an amateur. He is a three-time Canadian Mid-Amateur champion and was a member of Golf Canada’s National Amateur Team. He represented Canada at the Eisenhower Trophy World Amateur Championships in 2016 and 2018. Garrett decided to focus on his hockey officiating career in 2015, making his debut in the National Hockey League as the youngest referee in the league at age 27. Garrett attended the University of Waterloo and played on the golf team, winning many individual golf awards along the way. In 2012, he finished runner-up to Nathan Smith at the US Mid-Am. In 2015 he finished runner-up at the Canadian Amateur and in 2014 finished runner-up at the US Players Amateur Championship. Garrett skates 70+ NHL hockey games each season and is also a cancer survivor.
BIONathan Smith
4-Time USGA Mid-Am and 2015 U.S. Amateur Fourball Champion
Nathan is one of the best amateur players of our era. He has won the U.S. Mid-Amateur four times (2003, 2009, 2010, 2012), the Sunnehanna Amateur (2011), the Pennsylvania Amateur twice (2002, 2009), the West Penn Amateur four consecutive times (2007–10), and the R. Jay Sigel Match Play six times (2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017-18). He also won the inaugural U.S. Amateur Four-Ball in 2015 with playing partner Todd White, the fifth of his USGA championships. He was the youngest winner a U.S. Mid-Am at 25 years old. Nathan played on three consecutive American Walker Cup teams from 2009-2013, and played in the U.S. Open in 2004, and in the Masters four times, including alongside Arnold Palmer for his final Masters round in 2013.

Competitive Amateur, Author, and Golf Writer
John Steinbreder is an American writer who has written 21 books, most of them on golf. He is a contributor to Masters.com, the official website for the Masters, and senior writer for Global Golf Post, the digital weekly magazine with a circulation of over 2 million subscribers. John has reported on golf on five continents, and received dozens of honors for his work from the Golf Writers Association of America and the International Network of Golf. He received a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Oregon. He worked as a reporter for nearly three decades at Fortune, Sports Illustrated, and Golfweek until 2008, when he helped found Global Golf Post. John loves being around the competitive game, both as a journalist and on occasion as a contestant playing in a tournament.
